Delivery and Returns

Grants delivery details:

Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery:
All UK orders are delivered via DPD next working day delivery, as standard, at a cost of £3.95. Order before 4pm to guarantee next day delivery.  
Weekend Delivery:
We offer a Saturday and Sunday delivery service via DPD at a cost of £9.95. Order before 4pm on Friday to guarantee this service. This only applies to UK customers.
Additional shipping information:
- A working day is classed Monday to Friday 
- Orders placed on Friday before 4pm will be delivered on Monday via DPD next day delivery.
- Orders placed on Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday via DPD next day delivery.
DPD domestic even contact you to tell you what hour they deliver the parcel in.
EU Delivery:
We also offer a DPD shipping service to our EU customers. Deliveries will take 3-7 working days and cost is dependent on the destination.
Eurozone 1- Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands - £9.50
Eurozone 2 - Austria, Denmark, Sweden - £10.50
Eurozone 3 - Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia, Spain - £12.00
Eurozone 4 - Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden - £16.50
Eurozone 5 - Bulgaria, Greece, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Romania, Serbia - £22.50
Rest of The world Delivery:
All orders placed outside of the UK and EU, are delivered via our Royal Mail International service and are shipped at a cost of £14.95.



Please Contact and we'll send you a Royal Mail Slip to attach to the parcel. We usually reply Straight Away but during busy periods it make take up to 24 hours but fear not.

 We offer a no hassle 28 day from purchase date returns policy on full priced items. Nothing will be accepted back after 28 days

To make this quick and easy :

  1. Pack up the item (you can reuse our packaging) and send it back to us — its important that you fill out the returns sheets we send with the parcel, if we do not have this info your refund can not be processed. If for instant you have lost or misplaced the sheet please contact and we’ll email you one over.
  2. Then let us do the rest.

We try and process returns within 24 hours, and this is much easier when they have Order Form we send.

Unfortunately we can’t extend this offer to sale or clearance items — see below for how we deal with those.

We can exchange for a different size, colour or item. If the item is of higher value we will invoice the difference to you.

We can also provide a Credit Note to spend on anything you like at a later date.

Sale or Clearance items or items bought during a promotion can be returned under the same hassle free policy as full priced items, except we ask that they are returned within 10 days of the purchase.

If you are in the UK we’ll ship exchanged items back out to you for free.

You can check the exact status of your return by emailing, please highlight your order number and tracking number.

We aim to apply all refunds & dispatch exchange items within 48 hours of the day they are received, this time can increase during busy periods such as xmas & sale periods.

Our card processor will credit the money at midnight the same day, but credits can take 5-10 working days to show in your account. Please refer to your card issuer’s terms & conditions for further info.

Every so often mistakes do happen. If you have noticed that we have made a mistake with your order we will do our best to fix it. So if you have any issue with your order, please contact us straight away on +44 (0)1472 233840 or email us at, and we will look into it. Please include your order number at all times when e-mailing us.

Faulty items are dealt with slightly differently. If you consider the item you have received as faulty, please get in touch with us on 44 (0)1472 233840 or email us at, All items are stringently checked before packing and on arrival at the shop from the manufacturer, so if something has happened during shipping its important to let us know ASAP and we’ll let you know how to proceed from there. We’d never knowingly ship a faulty item.

If you want to return the item into the shop in person, the store staff can process a credit note or exchange but if a refund is required this may need to be processed by the Website team and may take an additional day.

Grants 1856 takes great steps and care to ensure that the product photography provided to you accurately represents the products we sell.

Unfortunately due to inconstancies in computer monitors and the manufacturing of products we cannot guarantee that the product will look exactly the same as the product on your computer screen.
