After resting the product for some years, the Clarks Weavers have returned to our stores and have taken the crepe sole world by storm. Having out-sold national favourite the Wallabee, we’re currently seeing the Weaver go from strength to strength, available in a superb array of colours that have turned the shoe into an iconic and integral part of the Clarks range. At Grants 1856 we’ve picked the very best from the collection for this season for you to browse through.
The Slate Blue is my personal favourite, as it’s a deeper darker version of the Summer Blue Weaver - great for the summer days with shorts and a tee, but a colour that still looks banging with a selvaged denim. The Peat Suede is a deep dark green that when combined with denim or shorts for the next few months of sun is the perfect shade this season. Then we’ve also got the Weaver Tan, a safe option and the dressed up version - ideal for wedding and suits for the summer.
With any pair of Weavers, the best thing you need is crepe protect for the suede. The leather tan are wipe clean. Clarks have also undergone a rebranding this season, and you can see this on the shoe’s tassel. The packaging has also changed dramatically, with the new shoes sitting in lovely new black box that you’ll want to keep.
