Clarks Originals Trigenic Flex Mk2
Nothing swings in and out of fashion like footwear does it? With sneaker releases daily, it's hard to keep up with what's in and out. Nike and Adidas have the stronghold on the market with their constant re-releases of so called classics, then along with that you have the celebrity co-labs from Kanye, Rihanna, Kendrik, to name but a few.
So then to not go off on a tangent, I will start talking about the new Trigenic Flex 2 that have dropped in store. What the geeks at Clarks have done is delved into their archives and taken inspiration from the iconic Wallabee with its moccasin construction with an all round stitch on the upper with immaculate detail. The lace system is pretty unorthodox yet works no slackening on these boys, to me the outsole is what's interesting about these so take a vibram sole and decouple it into 3 to create natural movement with the foot hard to believe? Here’s a picture.
So whats the difference between the Mk1 and Mk2? Well they've sorted their shit out and got the sizing right the Mk1’s were really big yet the Mk2’s are true to size plus they've added probably the best arch support ever to be fixed into any shoe for maximum comfort and functionality.
Bit like Marmite these Love them or hate them, but what I will add if you don't try them on you'll never know.
Clarks have been around forever, for most it they would have been your first pair of shoes, so great to see them evolving and trying new things.
Be a Wolf not a Sheep.
